What if Bunn CDBC fill does not shut off with power off?
    • M
      Michael TorresSep 7, 2025
If the fill or refill on your Bunn Coffee Maker doesn't shut off even when the ON/OFF switch is in the "OFF" position, it's likely an issue with the refill valve or control board. If water continuously flows out of the air vent tube, disconnect the brewer from the power source. If the water flow does not stop, repair or replace the refill solenoid. If the valve closes when power is removed, replace the control board.

If your Bunn Coffee Maker is spitting or excessively steaming, inspect the temperature probe, tank, or tank heater for excessive lime deposits. Delime as required to resolve this issue.

      Shelby ColemanSep 12, 2025
If your Bunn Coffee Maker is making unusual noises, ensure the plumbing lines are not resting on the countertop. The brewer must be connected to a cold water supply. If there's lime buildup, remove the tank lid and clean the inside of the tank with a deliming agent.

Why is my Bunn CDBC Coffee Maker serving coffee at a low temperature?
    • V
      vgallagherSep 12, 2025
If your Bunn Coffee Maker has a low beverage serving temperature, the warmer might be the issue. Disconnect the brewer from the power source, remove the warmer plate, and expose the warmer terminals. Check for continuity across the terminals; if not present, replace the warmer element. If continuity is present, check for voltage at the warmer terminals when the warmer switch is "ON". If there's no voltage, disconnect the power supply and check the wiring and switch.

      Helen CardenasSep 18, 2025
If your Bunn Coffee Maker continues to fill or refill even when the ON/OFF switch is "OFF", and water continuously flows out of the air vent tube, disconnect the brewer from the power source. If the water flow does not stop, repair or replace the refill solenoid. If the valve closes when power is removed, replace the control board.
