Fuel gauge
When the ignition key is in position II,
the fuel gauge detects and displays the
approximate volume of fuel remaining in
the fuel tank.
Fuel tank is nearly full——dialing position
1/1;
Fuel nearly runs out——dialing position
R.
The fuel level should be kept at 1/3 or above
of the fuel tank capacity.
When the fuel level is near R or the
low fuel level warning light turns on, the
fuel tank should be filled immediately.
On slopes or turning roads, the fuel level
display may fluctuate due to motion of fuel
in the fuel tank, or the low fuel level
warning light may shine earlier than usual.
Engine coolant temperature
warning light
When the ignition key is in position II,
the engine coolant temperature warning
light on the combined meter can indicate the
temperature state of the engine coolant if it
is too high or too low. The working
temperature of the engine will change with
whether and the engine load.
When the ignition key is rotated to position
“Ⅱ” and if the engine coolant
temperature is normal, the engine coolant
low-temperature warning light will shine for
6s and then go out
.
Engine coolant temperature is too high
If the engine coolant temperature is too high,
the high-temperature warning light will
shine; if the engine temperature increases
continually, the light will continue shining.
If the temperature is too high, stop and let
the engine cool.
Under the following working conditions, the
engine may become too hot:
z Climbing for long in hot weather.
z Slowing down or stopping after
driving at high speed.
z Driving with frequent stops or idling
the engine for long with the air conditioning
system turned on.
z Towing a trailer.
