Engine Oi
The engine oil is very important to
guarantee the performance and
service life of the engine, so it‘s
necessary to use high quality purified
oil. For the sake of your car, we
sincerely recommend you to use the
original engine oil of BYD Company.
Unscrew the cap of engine oil filler
port before adding oil, and then screw
the cap tightly after injection. Preheat
the engine and then shut it down,
check the oil level after about 3
minutes to ensure that it is within the
upper limit, thus to avoid engine
damage.
Add engine oil (model 476ZQA)
Type of oil used:
Only special engine oil for Fuchs
TITAN EM 5C 1420, BYD is used.
Add engine oil (model 473QE)
Type of oil used:
API level: SG or above
SAE level: 5W-30 (winter in Northern
area)
10W-30/40 (summer of Northern area
and whole year of Southern area)
Replace the engine oil and filter
For the consideration that there might
be dirt accumulated in engine oil and
filter, it is recommended to replace the
engine oil and filter regularly
according to the running time and
mileage (km) listed in the regular
