make it leave the ground.
8. Open a window slightly (if stored
indoors).
9. Disconnect the battery wiring.
10. Underlay the front wiper arm with
a folded towel or a piece of cloth to
prevent it from contacting with the
windshield glass.
11. To reduce adhesion, spray silicone
lubricant at the seals of all the doors
and trunk, and apply body wax on the
painted surface of the weather seals
of the doors and the trunk.
12. Cover the body with a permeable
cover made of ―porous material‖ such
as cotton. Because nonporous
material, such as plastic cloth will
accumulate moisture, thus damaging
the body surface paint.
13. If possible, run the engine for a
while periodically (preferably once a
month).
FRIENDLY TIPS
If the vehicle has been parked for a
year or more, before re-starting, ask
the BYD authorized service station to
conduct a routine maintenance. Then,
unless the vehicle's actual mileage or
time is close to that specified in the
regular maintenance table, there is no
need for replacement of parts.
