The new TL5 is a CD transport that uses CEC's
proprietary belt-drive mechanism to minimize the
vibration and electromagnetic noise from the spindle
motor.
A high precision CD stabilizer, which is a must for
the belt-drive system, is an easy-to-handle 7 cm in
diameter. The combination between the belt-drive
mechanism and heavy stabilizer with a big inertia
contributes to the high precision music reproduction.

CEC’s long history of belt-drive system achieved a
new standard, where a user may replace the belt
without consulting a specialist.
You are now free from consulting a belt replacement
either at your service center or a dealer, and enjoy
music without worrying about the lifetime of a belt.

New TL5 features multiple digital outputs; AES/EBU,
COAXIAL and TOSLINK.
The shortest possible signal pass and stability
of signal quality have been maintained by direct
mounting of all terminals to the single circuit board.

The brightness of the fluorescent display can be
switched by three steps at your convenience.
