Please make sure that:
Any plastic wrapping of the batteries in transmitter or receiver has
been removed.
Batteries on both the transmitter and receiver are new.
Batteries are inserted in correct polarity.
Receiver has been switched to “ON” (with red indicator).
The channels of both transmitter and receiver match each other.

Transmitter does
not blink.
Check connection between the camera
and transmitter. Screw the transmitter
tight to the camera’s hot shoe.
Change the battery of the transmitter.
Transmitter
blinks, receiver
does not blink.
Change the battery of the receiver.
Check whether the channels of the
transmitter and receiver match each other.
Make sure the receiver has been switched
ON.
Make sure the transmitter and receiver are
placed within 30 meters / 98 feet.
Change both transmitter and receiver to a
dierent channel and try again.
Pressing the shutter of the
camera does not trigger
the ash.
Both transmitter
and receiver
blink.
Check connection between the ash and
receiver. Lock or unlock the ash hot shoe
to the receiver and try again.
Make sure the ash unit has trigger
voltage of 300 volts or below.
Make sure to trigger the ash only after it
has been refreshed. Check the status LED
of your ash.
Try another ash model to verify whether
it is a compatibility issue (also see Notes on
Dedicated TTL Flashes on page 9).
