The LCD backlight of the V6 will turn on
whenever , , the selection dial or any
of the group buttons has been pressed
or turned. In order to conserve energy,
there is a timer setting that automatically

c h o o s e f r o m < O F F >, <5 S E C S >, <15 S E CS > o r
<STAY ON>.
To conserve energy when you forget to switch
off the V6 after use, the sleep timer will
switch the V6 to the sleep mode after a
specied period. In <SLEEP>, choose from
<O F F >, <15 M I N S > or <6 0 M I N S >.
To wake up the V6 from the sleep mode, press
any button or turn the selection dial once.
Local triggering via a hot shoe or x-sync
port also awakens the V6.
