KEYLESS ACCESS SYSTEM
Lock
Press to lock all doors and the locking fuel door

Press and hold for 3 seconds to close all windows.
To enable automatic mirror folding

Vehicle > Comfort and Convenience.
Unlock
Press to unlock the driver’s door and locking fuel
door

Remote Start
Aer locking the vehicle and while in range, press twice to start the
engine from outside the vehicle. Aer entering the vehicle, press
the ENGINE START/STOP buon.
Vehicle Locator/Panic Alarm
Press and release to locate your vehicle. e exterior lamps ash
and the horn chirps 3 times.
Press and hold for 3 seconds to activate the alarm. Press again to
cancel the alarm.
Power Release Trunk
Press twice to open the trunk.
Door/Glovebox Key
Press the buon (A) on the side of the key fob to pull out the key.
Refer to your Owner’s Manual for instructions to remove the key
cylinder cap on the driver’s door handle.
Note: To change or enable some Remote Keyless Entry settings, go to
Settings > Vehicle > Remote Lock, Unlock, Start.

e Keyless Access System enables operation of the doors and trunk
without removing the Remote Keyless Entry transmier (key fob)
from your pocket or purse. e key fob must be within 3 feet of the
trunk or door being unlocked.
KEYLESS UNLOCKING
With the
key fob
within range:
Press the touch pad (A) on the inside of the driver’s door handle
to unlock the driver’s door only or all doors, including the trunk
and locking fuel door

Press the touch pad on the inside of a passenger door handle to
unlock all doors, including the trunk and locking fuel door
♦

Press the touch pad above the license plate to open the trunk.
KEYLESS LOCKING
With the
key fob
within range:
Press the Cadillac crest
sensor (B) on the outside of
either front door handle to
lock all doors, the trunk
and locking fuel door

PASSIVE LOCKING
To have all doors, the trunk and locking fuel door
♦
lock auto-
matically aer a short delay when the ignition is o, the key fob
is removed from the vehicle, and all doors are closed, go to
Seings > Vehicle > Remote Lock, Unlock, Start > Passive Door
Lock.
To have the driver's door or all doors unlock when using the
touch pad on the driver's door handle, go to Seings > Vehicle >
Remote Lock, Unlock, Start > Passive Door Unlock.
