A Rear Seat Reminder message may display on the Driver
Information Center when the vehicle is turned o. Check the rear
seat before exiting the vehicle. e system does not actually detect
people or objects in the rear seat; instead, under certain condi-
tions, it detects when a rear door is opened and closed during a trip,
indicating that there may be something in the rear seat.

OPEN/CLOSE THE SUNSHADE
Press the rear or front of the Sunshade switch (A) to
express-open or express-close the sunshade. Press again to stop
movement.
OPEN/CLOSE THE
SUNROOF
Press the rear of the
Sunroof switch (B) to
vent the sunroof. Press
again to express-open the
sunroof.
Press and hold the rear of
the Sunroof switch
(B) to open the sunroof to a desired position. e sunroof will
stop when the switch is released.
Press the front of the Sunroof switch (B) to express-close
the sunroof.

OPEN/CLOSE THE POWER LIFTGATE
Press the Power Ligate
buon on the Remote Keyless
Entry (RKE) transmier twice.
Press the Power Ligate
knob on the driver’s door.
Press the touchpad under the li-
gate handle to open the ligate.
Press the buon next to the ligate latch to close the ligate.
PROGRAMMING THE LIFTGATE HEIGHT
1. Turn the Power Ligate knob to the 3/4 mode position.
2. Open the ligate. Adjust it manually to the desired height.
3. To save the seing, press and hold the buon next to the li-
gate latch for 3 seconds. e turn signals ash and beeps sound
when the seing is saved.

foot straight under the le
side of the rear bumper.
e RKE transmier must
be within 3 feet of the li-
gate. e Cadillac logo is
projected on the ground
near the rear bumper,
indicating the kicking
motion location. e logo is shown for 1 minute, depending on
operating conditions.
