7. Installation
For your own safety and for that of third parties, strictly follow the “Safety standards”
reported in chapter 1.
INSTALLATION WARNINGS
Before installing the machine, follow these safety instructions:
• place the machine in a safe place;
• make sure that children do not have the opportunity to play with the machine;
• prevent the machine from being placed on very hot surfaces or near naked
ames.
WARNING:
place the machine on a at and stable surface, away from water and heat sources.
Disconnect the power supply, if present. Lift the machine with extreme caution, using
both hands.
The coffee machine is now ready to be connected to the mains.
CONNECTION TO THE MAINS
WARNING:
electrical current can be dangerous! Consequently, always strictly observe the safety
regulations described in chapter 1 of this manual.
Never use faulty cables! Defective cables and plugs must be replaced immediately by
authorised service centres.
The voltage of the device has been set at the factory. Check that the mains voltage corre-
sponds to the indications on the identication plate located on the bottom of the appliance
Check that the main switch is not pressed before connecting the machine to the mains. Plug
the plug into a suitable power outlet.
