Why is my CAIRE Medical Equipment venting excessively from relief valves (hissing sound)?

Excessive venting, indicated by a hissing sound, could be due to several reasons. The saturation pressure might be too high, so inspect it and allow at least 30 minutes at no flow for proper saturation. The relief valve might be frozen open, in which case you should allow the portable unit to warm and thaw before attempting to refill it. A faulty relief valve could also be the cause, requiring a test and possible replacement. Finally, a partial or complete loss of vacuum may be the issue, requiring a NER test and possible return of the unit.
