Alarms and Safety Features
When an alarm occurs, the pump will show all symbols (see below).
The affected part will flash to indicate the reason for the alarm.
The alarm symbol will flash and indicate that an occurrence has taken place.
Set Insertion
The set is not inserted correctly.
The wrong set used.
Remedy
Check the positioning.
Clean the clamp.
Use an Ambix activ giving set.
Pump Mechanism Blocked
Contact Calea Patient Services or the helpline.
Downstream Occlusion
The infusion will stop.
Check below the pump for the following:
Kink/ blockage/clamps/air particles.
Remedy
Remove the kink/ blockages/clamps/air particles.
Upstream Occlusion
The infusion will stop.
Check above the pump for the following:
Kink/ blockage/clamps/air particles.
Remedy
Remove the kink/ blockages/clamps/air particles.
