What to do if no output LEDs are lit on California Instruments AC Power Distribution?
    • L
      Lauren ThompsonAug 9, 2025
If none of the output LEDs on the front panel of your California Instruments AC Power Distribution unit are lit, the issue lies within the DC-AC board. If all LEDs light up after powering on, replace the DC-AC module because it likely has a shorted gate drive and blown power transistors. If the LEDs stay off, replace the DC-DC board. If the fuse is blown with signs of damage on the board, do not replace the fuse; replace the DC-AC module. However, if there's no visible damage, replacing the fuse and trying again is acceptable.

How to troubleshoot no output and no front panel LEDs on California Instruments 801P AC Power Distribution?
    • B
      Barbara NelsonAug 23, 2025
If there is no output and no front panel LEDs are illuminated on your California Instruments AC Power Distribution, check the following: if the LED is not lit but power is available at the EMI filter, replace the P.F.C. module. If the LEDs on the DC-DC board are lit but the front panel LEDs are not, the large ribbon cable between the DC-DC and AC converter is likely the problem. If fuses are blown and there are burn marks on components, do not replace the fuses; replace the DC-DC module.
