4. Si requiere usar un cordón de
extensión, sólo use un cordón de
extensión con 3 alambres que
tenga la misma configuración al de
la unidad, incluyendo el terminal
redondo para conexión a tierra.
Cerciórese de conectar el cordón de
extensión a un tomacorrientes
conectado a tierra adecuadamente.
5. Cuando utilice un cordón de exten-
sión, cerciórse de que éste esté en
buenas condiciones y cumpla las
especificaciones estipuladas en la
tabla a continuación. Si requiere
usar un cordón de extensión, éste
debe cumplir las siguientes estipu-
laciones (Vea la Tabla 1)

1. Remove thumbscrew.
CLEANING THE AIR FILTER
• If using latex (water-based)
coatings, use mild soapy water
to clean filter. Remove excess
water with a soft cloth. Allow to
dry flat before reinstalling filter.
• Replace filter if built-up with
paint, or if using oil-based (sol-
vent-based) coatings.
Do not attempt to
clean with mineral
spirits or other solvent.

Maintenance
Be sure the air filter is clean. A dirty air
filter restricts air flow and can cause
the motor to overheat.
IMPORTANT: Keep the unit at the
maximum distance from the spray
area to extend filter life.
