What to do if my Campbell Hausfeld Pressure Washer does not start up?
    • C
      Courtney PhelpsAug 14, 2025
If your Campbell Hausfeld Pressure Washer doesn't start up, first, push the reset button on the GFCI plug. If that doesn't work, check the plug, socket, and fuses to ensure they are properly connected and functioning. Avoid using an extension cord, as it may be the cause. Also, confirm that the main voltage supply is adequate. If the thermal safety switch has tripped, switch off the unit and allow the motor to cool down.

How to fix low pressure on a Campbell Hausfeld PW150100 Pressure Washer?
    • J
      jamesrichardsonAug 18, 2025
If your Campbell Hausfeld Pressure Washer has low pressure or the pump runs rough, it could be due to several reasons. A worn nozzle can cause this, so replace it. The inlet filter on the pump might be clogged, so clean it and check it more frequently. A restricted inlet, such as a collapsed or kinked garden hose, can also be the cause, so check the hose and inlet water flow. Additionally, a leaking high-pressure hose can lead to low pressure, so replace the hose if necessary. Finally, ensure all hoses and fittings are tight to prevent the pump from drawing in air.

      fwatkinsSep 9, 2025
If your Campbell Hausfeld Pressure Washer motor will not start, turn the water supply off, then disconnect the garden hose and the black high-pressure hose from the unit to relieve any pressure from the pump. If your unit has a GFCI plug, push the top button, then the bottom button, and then the top button again. A light should appear in the small window above the buttons. If there is no red light, the unit is not getting power and may need to be taken to a service center for repair.
