4. WHATPRODUCTSARECOVEREDBYTHISWARRANTY:ThisCampbellHausfeldaircompressor.
5. WHATISCOVEREDUNDERTHISWARRANTY:PartsandLabortoremedysubstantialdefectsduetomaterialand
workmanshipduringthefirstyearofownershipwiththeexceptionsnotedbelow.Partsonlytoremedysubstantialdefects
duetomaterialandworkmanshipduringremainingtermofcoveragewithexceptionsnotedbelow.
6. WHATISNOTCOVEREDUNDERTHISWARRANTY:
A.Impliedwarranties,includingthoseofmerchantabilityandFITNESSFORAPARTICULARPURPOSEARELIMITEDFROM
THEDATEOFORIGINALPURCHASEASSTATEDINTHEDURATION.Ifthecompressorisusedforcommercial,industrial
orrentalpurposes,thewarrantywillapplyforninety(90)daysfromthedateofpurchase.Two-stagecompressorsare
notlimitedtoaninety(90)daywarrantywhenusedincommercialorindustrialapplications.SomeStatesdonotallow
limitationsonhowlonganimpliedwarrantylasts,sotheabovelimitationsmaynotapplytoyou
B. ANYINCIDENTAL,INDIRECT,ORCONSEQUENTIALLOSS,DAMAGE,OREXPENSETHATMAYRESULTFROMANYDEFECT,
FAILURE,ORMALFUNCTIONOFTHECAMPBELLHAUSFELDPRODUCT.SomeStatesdonotallowtheexclusionor
limitationsofincidentalorconsequentialdamages,sotheabovelimitationorexclusionmaynotapplytoyou.
C. Anyfailurethatresultsfromanaccident,purchaser’sabuse,neglectorfailuretooperateproductsinaccordancewith
instructionsprovidedintheowner’smanual(s)suppliedwithcompressor.
D.Pre-deliveryservice,e.g.assembly,oilorlubricants,andadjustment.
E. Itemsorservicethatisnormallyrequiredtomaintaintheproduct,e.g.lubricants,filtersandgaskets,etc.
F. Gasolineenginesandcomponentsareexpresslyexcludedfromcoverageunderthislimitedwarranty.ThePurchaser
mustcomplywiththewarrantygivenbytheenginemanufacturerwhichissuppliedwiththeproduct
G.Additionalitemsnotcoveredunderthiswarranty:
1.ExcludeditemspertainingtoAllCompressors
a.Anycomponentdamagedinshipmentoranyfailurecausedbyinstallingoroperatingunitunderconditionsnot
inaccordancewithinstallationandoperationguidelinesordamagedbycontactwithtoolsorsurroundings.
b.Pumporvalvefailurecausedbyrain,excessivehumidity,corrosiveenvironmentsorothercontaminants.
c.Cosmeticdefectsthatdonotinterferewithcompressorfunctionality.
d.Thefollowingcomponentsareconsiderednormalwearitemsandarenotcoveredafterthefirstyearof
ownership.Electricmotor,checkvalve,pressureswitch,regulator,pressuregauges,hose,tubing,pipe,fittings
andcouplers,screws,nuts,hardwareitems,belts,pulleys,flywheel,airfilterandhousing,gaskets,seals,oilleaks,
airleaks,oilconsumptionorusage,pistonrings.
e.Damageduetoincorrectvoltageorimproperwiring.
f. Otheritemsnotlistedbutconsideredgeneralwearparts.
g.Pressureswitches,airgovernors,load/unloaddevices,throttlecontroldevicesandsafetyvalvesmodifiedfrom
factorysettings.
h.Damagefrominadequatefiltermaintenance.
2.ExcludeditemsspecifictoLubricatedCompressors:
a.Pumpwearorvalvedamagecausedbyusingoilnotspecified.
b.Pumpwearordamagecausedbyanyoilcontamination.
c.Pumpwearordamagecausedbyfailuretofollowproperoilmaintenanceguidelines,operationbelowproperoil
leveloroperationwithoutoil.
H.Labor,servicecall,ortransportationchargesafterthefirstyearofownershipofstationarycompressors.Stationary
compressorsaredefinedasnotincludingahandleorwheels.
7. RESPONSIBILITIESOFWARRANTORUNDERTHISWARRANTY:Repairorreplace,atWarrantor’soption,compressoror
componentwhichisdefective,hasmalfunctionedand/orfailedtoconformwithinthedurationofthespecificwarranty
period.
8. RESPONSIBILITIESOFPURCHASERUNDERTHISWARRANTY:
A.Providedatedproofofpurchaseandmaintenancerecords.
B. CallCampbellHausfeld(800-543-6400)toobtainyourwarrantyserviceoptions.Freightcostsmustbebornebythe
purchaser.
C. Usereasonablecareintheoperationandmaintenanceoftheproductsasdescribedintheowner’smanual(s).
D.Repairsrequiringovertime,weekendrates,oranythingbeyondthestandardmanufacturerwarrantyrepairlabor
reimbursementrate.
E. Timerequiredforanysecuritychecks,safetytraining,orsimilarforservicepersonneltogainaccesstofacility.
F. Locationofunitmusthaveadequateclearanceforservicepersonneltoperformrepairsandeasilyaccessible.
9. WHENWARRANTORWILLPERFORMREPAIRORREPLACEMENTUNDERTHISWARRANTY:Repairorreplacementwillbe
scheduledandservicedaccordingtothenormalworkflowattheservicinglocation,anddependingontheavailabilityof
replacementparts.
ThisLimitedWarrantyappliesintheU.S.,CanadaandMexicoonlyandgivesyouspecificlegalrights.Youmayalsohave
otherrightswhichvaryfromStatetoStateorcountrytocountry.
