Overview

The Candy Hoover Group S.R.L. oven is a versatile appliance designed for cooking various foods. This manual provides comprehensive instructions for its safe and efficient use, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Function Description:

The oven offers a variety of cooking modes to suit different culinary needs:

  • LAMP: Illuminates the oven interior.
  • DEFROST: Circulates room temperature air around frozen food to defrost it quickly without altering protein content.
  • MULTI-LEVEL: Recommended for poultry, pastries, fish, and vegetables. This mode uses both top and bottom heating elements along with the fan, ensuring even heat distribution and reducing cooking and preheating times. It allows cooking different foods simultaneously without mixing odors.
  • KEEP WARM: Ideal for reheating pre-cooked food or defrosting bread, pizza, or pastry. The temperature is preset at 60°C.
  • BOTTOM HEATING + FAN: Uses the bottom heating element with the fan for juicy fruit flans, tarts, quiches, and pâtés. It prevents food from drying and promotes rising in baked goods.
  • CONVENTIONAL: Utilizes both top and bottom heating elements for traditional roasting and baking, suitable for red meats, roast beef, lamb, game, bread, foil-wrapped food, and flaky pastry.
  • COOK LIGHT: This function promotes healthier cooking by reducing the need for fat or oil. It combines heating elements with a pulsating air cycle for perfect baking results.
  • GRILL: Uses the top heating element with the door closed. It requires five minutes of preheating and is suitable for grilling, kebabs, and gratin dishes. White meats should be placed further from the grill, while red meats and fish fillets can be placed on the shelf with the drip pan underneath. The oven has two grill positions: Grill (2140 W) and Barbecue (3340 W).
  • GRILL + TURNSPIT: Uses the top heating element with a rotating turnspit for cooking. Ideal for medium-sized items and traditional roasts, with adjustable heating levels. No preheating is required.
  • SUPER GRILL: Offers five grill levels (L1 to L5) and is more powerful than the standard grill, suitable for barbecuing (3000 W).
  • PYROLYSIS (ECO/SUPER): A self-cleaning system that destroys food residues at high temperatures. ECO Pyrolytic cleans moderately stained ovens (90 minutes), while SUPER Pyrolytic cleans heavily stained ovens (120 minutes).
  • AQUACTIVA FUNCTION: Uses steam to help remove fat and food particles from the oven.

  • Aquactiva Cleaning: Pour 300 ml of distilled or drinkable water into the Aquactiva container at the bottom of the oven. Set the oven to Static or Bottom heater function at the Aquactiva icon temperature for 30 minutes. After cooling, clean the interior with a cloth.
  • Side Racks Removal: Pull the wire racks in the direction of the arrows to remove them for cleaning (dishwasher safe or hand wash). Reassemble in reverse order.
  • Oven Window Removal: Open the front window, push down the hinge housing clamps on both sides, and carefully extract the glass panels for cleaning. Reassemble in reverse order, ensuring the "Low-E" indication is legible and positioned on the left side of the door.
  • Changing the Bulb: Disconnect the oven from the mains supply, unscrew the glass cover, replace the bulb with a new one of the same type, and reassemble the cover.
