j Open the protector.
■ Unless the protector is opened com¬
pletely, the shutter cannot be released.
Be sure to close the protector when you
put the camera in the case, so that you
may prevent unintentional shutter release
which causes battery drain.
2 Move the aperture knob and set the
aperture scale (weather mark) most
appropriate to the shooting condition.
