K. Field Replacement Parts
Field replacement parts are defined as those parts having a limited life that
will be reached during a customer’s specific printer operation, and should be
replaced as needed. Examples of field replacement parts include, but are not
limited to the linear scale and carriage unit.
A field replacement parts list is provided in Table 21 on page 16, to assist in
the initial parts/supplies planning. A recommended part’s life expectancy is
directly related to usage factors, such as paper size, paper quality,
environment, usage application, and printer maintenance. Therefore,
recommended parts do not have a warranty, and Canon USA cannot
guarantee a minimum life.

L. Recommended Spare Parts
Canon USA recommends that the Dealer or Authorized Service Provider keep
