  If cut sheets are stuck in the front paper feed slot of the Canon Printer, and you can't pull them out, it may be due to using paper other than POP board. Try pushing the sheet from the front towards the back; once the edge appears at the back, pull it out. If roll paper is warped, straighten it and reload it. If paper is jammed, remove the jammed paper. If the paper feed slot is closed after manually pulling out paper, remove the roll and open the paper feed slot.

  The printer might not be cutting because a printed document is caught on something near the Output Tray, lifting the document and causing the cutter to pass underneath. Make sure there are no foreign objects obstructing the Output Tray so the printer can eject documents levelly. Also, check the printer driver settings: 'Automatic Cutting' should be set to 'Yes'. Finally, verify that the Cutting Mode in the Control Panel menu is not set to 'Eject' or 'Manual'. If it is set to Eject, press the Cut button to cut the paper. If it is set to Manual, use scissors or a cutting tool.

If you're using paper that the Cutter Unit can't handle, specify Manual cutting mode in the Control Panel and use scissors. Adjust the Cut Speed setting in the Control Panel menu. If documents are falling out at an angle, set Cutting Mode to Eject and hold them as they're cut.
