There are several reasons why your Canon Fax Machine might not be sending documents. It could be due to improperly installed FINE Cartridge. The fax may have overheated, so unplug it to let it cool for several minutes. Ensure the fax is set for the correct telephone line type and the document is loaded correctly into the ADF. Check that the one-touch speed dialing button or coded speed dialing code is registered correctly, and that you have dialed the correct number. Also, the receiving party’s fax machine may be out of paper, other documents may be sending from memory, or an error may have occurred during sending. Check the ACTIVITY REPORT for errors. Ensure the telephone line is working properly, and the receiving fax machine is G3 compatible.
