Preparation

Remove Protective Materials

Remove all orange tape and protective materials from the inside and outside of the printer.

Connecting Power

Connect Power Cord to Printer

Insert the power cord into the printer and the wall outlet firmly.

Turning Off the Printer

Procedure to Turn Off Printer

Press the ON button, wait for the POWER lamp to be off.

Install the Print Head

Install the Print Head (Continued)

Print Head Holder Moves to Position

The Print Head Holder (C) moves to the installation position.

Remove Print Head from Packaging

Remove the Print Head from the silver package.

Secure Print Head Lock Lever

Firmly lift the part (D) of the Print Head Lock Lever until it stops.

Install the Ink Tanks

Install the Ink Tanks (Continued)

Install the Software

Do Not Connect USB Cable Yet

Avoid connecting the USB cable until instructed during software installation.

Software Installation Process

Copy drivers and software to the computer's hard disk, takes about 20 minutes.

Install the Software (Continued)

Start Setup from CD-ROM

Insert the Setup CD-ROM and the program starts automatically in Windows.

Choose Installation Method (Easy/Custom)

Select Easy Install or Custom Install for software installation.

Connect Printer and Turn On for Setup

Connect the printer with a USB cable and turn it ON.

Print Head Alignment

Load Specialty Paper for Alignment

Load specialty paper (Matte Photo Paper MP-101) in the Rear Tray (B).

Execute Print Head Alignment

Click Execute to start the print head alignment process.
