  The error message on your Canon Printer may be due to an improperly installed or incompatible FINE Cartridge. Try installing the appropriate FINE Cartridge and perform the FINE Cartridge Alignment. If the error persists, turn the printer OFF, unplug it from the power supply, wait a moment, plug it back in, and turn it back ON. If the error continues, contact a Canon service representative.

Why is the back of the paper smudged when using Canon PIXMA MP150 Printer?

  If the back of the paper is smudged, or the printed surface is scratched when using your Canon Printer, the inside of the machine may be dirty. Clean the inside of the machine. Also, a dirty paper feed roller can cause these issues. Clean the paper feed rollers.

  If your Canon MP170 Printer is not printing properly from a Photo Index Sheet and shows , make sure all required boxes on the Photo Index Sheet are filled in, and that the sheet is set in the correct position and orientation on the Platen Glass.

  If you cannot see the display on the LCD/LED of your Canon Printer, ensure that the machine is turned ON by pressing the [ON/OFF] button. If it is already on, the LCD/LED may be in Power Saver mode. Press any button on the Operation Panel (except [ON/OFF]) to restore the display.
