Verify all parts are present before proceeding with setup.
Open output tray and lift scanning unit to access internal parts.
Remove all orange protective tapes and sheets from the printer.
Plug the power cord into the machine and a wall outlet.
Activate the machine by pressing the ON button.
Ensure the POWER lamp lights green, indicating readiness.
Open scanner cover and wait for cartridge holder movement.
Access cartridge slots by opening the ink cartridge locking cover.
Gently pull the orange protective tape from the FINE cartridge.
Insert black cartridge right, color cartridge left.
Close scanner cover and wait for LED to display '1'.
