Why is my Canon Pixma Pro9500 printing blurred with wrong colors?
    • P
      poncedavidJul 26, 2025
If your Canon printer output is blurred, the colors are wrong, or white streaks appear, it might be due to clogged Print Head nozzles. Open the Top Cover and check if all ink lamps are lit. Print the nozzle check pattern to check for uneven ink output. If a specific color is missing, clean the Print Head.

What to do if Canon Pixma Pro9500 Printer does not start?
    • A
      Amanda SmithJul 30, 2025
If your Canon printer doesn't start or stops during print jobs, it could be due to several reasons. First, wait to see if the printer is simply warming up or processing data. If not, open the Top Cover and check if the ink lamp lights red. If the ink lamp flashes red fast, the ink tank may be incorrectly installed. Ensure each ink tank color is in the correct position. Also, the ink tank may be empty, so check the ALARM lamp flashes and replace the ink tank if needed.

Why does my Canon Printer print with ink blots?
    • D
      Deborah ReedAug 3, 2025
If your Canon printer is producing curled prints or ink blots, it might be due to the paper you're using. If the paper being used is too thin, use photo paper to print photos or pictures in deep color that have high color saturation. Also, on the Main tab of the printer driver, ensure that the Media Type selected matches the paper loaded. In the Print dialog box of the printer driver, select Quality & Media from the pop-up menu, and then ensure that the Media Type selected matches the paper loaded.

Why are ruled lines displaced on my Canon Printer?
    • A
      Ashley ScottAug 7, 2025
If the ruled lines are displaced when printing with your Canon printer, it could be due to a misaligned Print Head. In this case, align the Print Head. Also, ensure that the Print Quality setting is set to High in Windows, or Fine in Macintosh. If you cannot choose the High setting or when the print quality does not improve, select Custom, click Set and then adjust the Quality bar for higher print quality.

How to prevent scratches on prints from Canon Printer?
    • D
      Drew TateAug 12, 2025
If the printed surface is scratched or the back of the paper is smudged when using your Canon printer, it could be due to several reasons. Check if the paper is too thick or curled. If you are using thick paper, select the Prevent paper abrasion check box to widen the clearance between the Print Head and the loaded paper. If you are printing on board paper or especially thick paper, select Board Paper from Media Type in the printer driver.

Why is my Canon Printer vibrating?
    • W
      William BensonAug 16, 2025
When the POWER lamp flashes blue and the Canon printer vibrates, the printer is shaking the ink tanks. This is not a malfunction, so wait until the POWER lamp stops flashing and stays lit, and the printer stops vibrating. Do not open the Top Cover while the printer is operating (the POWER lamp is flashing blue).

What to do if Canon Pixma Pro9500 driver installation does not start from CD-ROM?
    • D
      Diana DanielAug 20, 2025
If the printer driver installation for your Canon printer does not start automatically when you insert the Setup CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive, click Start and select My Computer. Double-click the CD-ROM icon. If the CD-ROM icon is not displayed, restart your computer. If the icon is still not displayed, try different disks and see if they are displayed. If other disks are displayed, there is a problem with the Setup CD-ROM. Contact the Customer Care Center.
