Another reason might be that you are operating your WLAN router at 5Ghz instead of 2.4 Ghz, so set your router to the operating frequency of 2.4 GHz. In some cases, the musicbox Air 3 had a “system crash”, so reboot the musicbox Air 3 by switching it off and on again using the POWER button. If required, reset the musicbox Air 3 by pressing and holding the RESET button on the back until the LED ring blinks quickly green (2x per second).

An iPod, iPhone or iPad cannot be simultaneously connected via AirPlay and USB. Also, update the device firmware if the operating system (firmware) installed on your Apple device is earlier than iOS Version 4.3.3. Note: a compatible firmware version is not available for iPod touch (1st and 2nd generation) and iPhone 3G.

Remove the network cable from your WLAN-compatible device, as only a wireless (WLAN) connection is permitted. 4. Ensure the musicbox Air 3 has been set into the manual connection mode by pressing the WP SETUP button until the LED ring blinks alternating red and blue. If it blinks green and blue, the button was not pressed long enough.
