What to do if Caputron ActivaDose II Medical Equipment shows “ELECTRODE REJECT” and “REJ” lights?
    • N
      ncarrollAug 14, 2025
If the Caputron Medical Equipment shows “ELECTRODE REJECT” and the “REJ” indicator lights are on, it could be due to several reasons: * A loose electrical connection at one or both electrodes. To resolve this, turn the CURRENT knob counter-clockwise to “PAUSE” the treatment and silence the beep. * One or both electrodes have pulled away from the skin. Make sure to correct the placement of the electrodes. * Insufficient medication in the drug electrode or the drug electrode is not properly hydrated. In these cases, turn the CURRENT knob to reset the current and restart the treatment. * The medication used may be inappropriate for iontophoresis. Turn the CURRENT knob to reset the current and restart the treatment.

What to do if Caputron Medical Equipment shows “LOW BATT REJECT” and “BAT” lights during treatment?
    • I
      imccarthyAug 17, 2025
If the Caputron Medical Equipment displays “LOW BATT REJECT” and the “BAT” indicator lights are on during treatment, it means the battery voltage is too low for the treatment to continue. The unit will not allow the treatment to be restarted and ramps down current before the preset dose is delivered. To solve this, replace the battery.

What to do if Caputron Medical Equipment shows “LOW BATTERY” and “BAT” lights when turned on?
    • K
      Kathleen TorresAug 20, 2025
If the Caputron Medical Equipment shows “LOW BATTERY” and the “BAT” indicator lights when the unit is turned on, it indicates that the battery voltage is too low for proper operation. If the battery voltage is very low, only the BAT indicator light may be on, and the unit will not allow treatment to begin. The solution is to replace the battery.

What to do if Caputron ActivaDose II Medical Equipment shows “PAUSE”?
    • S
      Sarah WongAug 25, 2025
If the Caputron Medical Equipment displays a “PAUSE”, it means the treatment has been paused. This can happen if the current was decreased to 0.0 mA or if the CURRENT knob was depressed. During a pause, electrodes may be disconnected, moved, or replaced. To resume, correct the situation that caused the pause or turn the CURRENT knob to reset the current and restart the treatment.

What does Current “LIMIT” mean on Caputron ActivaDose II?
    • T
      Tina HarrisAug 28, 2025
The “LIMIT” message for current on Caputron Medical Equipment indicates that the maximum current of 4.0 mA has been reached. For guidance on usage and recommendations for current settings, please refer to the electrode directions for use and Section VIII-B.

What does Dose “LIMIT” mean on Caputron ActivaDose II?
    • P
      Pamela HernandezSep 1, 2025
The “LIMIT” message for dose on Caputron Medical Equipment indicates that the maximum dose of 80.0 mA-min has been reached. Refer to the electrode directions for dosage recommendations and be cautious not to exceed the recommended dosage.

Why BAT indicator lights during treatment on Caputron ActivaDose II Medical Equipment?
    • G
      gburtonSep 4, 2025
If the BAT indicator lights are on during treatment with the Caputron Medical Equipment, it means the battery voltage is decreasing. However, the treatment can continue. After the treatment is finished, replace the battery.

What does “RESISTANCE LIMIT” mean on Caputron ActivaDose II Medical Equipment?
    • K
      Kyle WhiteSep 9, 2025
The “RESISTANCE LIMIT” message on the Caputron Medical Equipment indicates that the skin resistance at an electrode site is too high for the preset current level, such as on the plantar surface of the foot. The unit automatically increases the current up to the preset level, or as high as possible, and adjusts the time to deliver the desired dose.

Summary
