Cleaning
The respiratory pressure meter requires no routine maintenance or
servicing and is protected from contamination by the bacterial filter
supplied. However the mouthpiece and nasal probes may be
immersed in cold sterilising solutions such as PeraSafe for a period not
exceeding 15 minutes. Rinse with distilled water, drain, and allow to
dry before reassembly. A flow of air through the nasal probe
connecting tube may be introduced to shorten the drying time.

Consumables/Supporting products, page 27. PeraSafe is available from
CareFusion in convenient 81g, plastic containers.
Calibration
Calibration is factory set and should remain stable indefinitely.
However, calibration may be checked by connecting the device to a
manometer as shown below:
