Before inserting the membrane, wrap the membrane
with a layer of film measuring approximately 10x25
cm (the film can be recovered from the packaging if
needed) and then place it inside the vessel.

As soon as it passes the groove on the pressure cap,
remove the film and proceed until the membrane is
fully inserted.
5.2.7 Installation of the uv quartz lamp
(optional)
Caution:
Danger from uv radiation
UV radiation is harmful to the skin and eyes: disconnect
power to the UV lamp before performing any
operations.
Notice:
The UV lamp and the quartz are very fragile. Pay extra
care when performing the following operations to fit
and/or remove the lamp and the quartz:
» Open the rubber cap (A) and unscrew the
plug (B).
» Slide the lamp (D) approximately five
centimetres out of the chamber (G)
» Securely holding the end of the lamp (D),
» carefully remove the fourpin lamp connector
(C) from the open end of the lamp.
» Carefully remove the lamp (D) from the
chamber (F).
» Then unscrew the other end of the UV lamp to
access to O-ring on the quartz tube.
» Carefully remove the O-rings (E) from both
ends of the quartz tube (F).
