Introduction
From firmware version 5.0, The Hidra Crono controller has an optional PLC feature (Programmable
logiccontroller)toallowtheimplementationofspecialfunctionsinafastandeasyway.
Withthisnewfunctionalityitis possibletoprovide theliftofpracticallyanyspecificfunctionofthe
buildingwithoutthe
needtoaddexternalelements,spendtimeaddingadditionalwiringorexternal
elementsofcontrol
Thissoftwaremoduleisdesignedtonotaffectthenormaloperationofthelift.Becauseofthis,itis
not possible to change specific functions of this. Below are indicated some examples of the
possibilitiesoffered
bythePLCmodule.

Inputs
Theinputsmaybephysicalinputs,liftstatus,temporalregistersorpermanentregisters.

oncontroller, 6oncartop,2oneachlandingmodule,8onthepitmoduleand64
onMEXexpansion
modules). A free potential contact is required for this type of inputs, for example key switches,
pushbuttonsorrelaycontacts.
TheLiftstatusinputsaregeneratedbyHidra Cronocontrollerdependingofitsstatus,forexample,if
isdefinedaninputof“inspection” thevalueofthisinput
willbe1whiletheliftisunderinspection.
AnInputoftemporalregisterisaninternalmemorypositionusedtonestvariouselements.Thistype

An output of temporal register is an internal memory position used to nest various elements.
