Troubleshooting
• SYMPTOM:Thethermostatdisplayashes‘Occupied1’whenrunningthe
program. 
CAUSE:ThesensorconnectedtotheDryContactterminalsofthe
thermostat,isactive,forcingtheunitinto‘Occupied1’. 
REMEDY: Verify proper wiring between the thermostat and the occupancy 
sensor and verify that the wiring is not shorted. If no sensor is connected, 
programtheDryContactpolarityforNormallyOpen(step#14,page21of
theOwner’sManual).
• SYMPTOM:ThethermostatwillonlyallowHeatorOin2-pipe
installations, even though chilled water is available. 
CAUSE:Faulty,improperlywired,orimproperlyinstalledH2Ochangeover
sensor. 
REMEDY:Conrmproperwiringofthechangeoversensor(betweenRand
H2O).Conrmproperplacementofthesensor(goodmechanicalcoupling
fortemperaturetransfer).Testthechangeoversensorasfollows: 
 1.Removepowerfromthefancoilsystem. 
 2.DisconnectthewirebetweenthesensorandtheH2Oterminal. 
 3.PlaceanohmmeterbetweenRandthewirejustdisconnectedfrom
    the sensor. 
 4.Agoodsensorwillshowcontinuitywheneverthewatertemperature
  isconrmedtobeatorbelow65degrees.Ifthesensorisopenwhen
  thewatertemperatureisconrmedtobeatorbelow65,replace 
    the sensor.
