DIAGNOSIS AND SOLUTION
E0 / F4 (EEPROM parameter error Diagnosis and Solution)
Description: Indoor or outdoor PCB main chip does not receive feedback from EEPROM chip.
Recommended parts to prepare:
• Indoor PCB
• Outdoor PCB
Troubleshooting
REMARKS:
EEPROM: A read-only memory which contains contents that can be erased and reprogrammed using a pulsed voltage. Review
figures 23 and 24 for the location of the EEPROM chip on the indoor and outdoor PCB.

NOTE: For certain models, the outdoor PCB cannot be removed separately. In this case, the outdoor electric control box should be replaced
as a whole. These images are only for reference and the actual appearance may vary.
Shut o the power supply and
turn it on 2 minutes later.
Is it still displaying
the error code ?
YES
Replace the indoor main
PCB (E0)/outdoor main PCB (F4).
Unit is operating as designed.
