What to do if the Carrier 58STA070-12 Furnace LED status light is off?

  If your Carrier Furnace's LED status light is off, you should try the following steps: First, close the circuit breaker and restart. If that doesn't work, check for continuity in the wire from the circuit breaker to the furnace and ensure correct line voltage polarity. If the issue persists, you may need to replace the transformer, door switch, or furnace control.

How to fix a thermostat that is not compatible with Carrier 58STA070-12?

  If the thermostat is not compatible with the Carrier Furnace control, you can either install a ballast resistor, connect the Com24V thermostat terminal to the thermostat, or replace the thermostat.
