4. The opposite side footrest mount requires
a mostly blind install – as the connection
may be hidden from view by the footrest as
you position it for install. The opposite side
footrest mounting bracket will not slide
onto the mounting rod with the footrest
sitting on the floor. However, start by plac-
ing the footrest mount up to the mounting
rod as shown below while the footrest is
on the ground (or in the lowest possible
position).
5. Next lift the footrest upward, while making sure the mounting bracket is resting on top of the mounting
rod as you pivot the footrest upward.
6. Insert the cotter pin as on the opposite side. At this point the foot-
rest installation is completed.
7. Next insert the remote control cable at the rear of the chair, near
the floor. Note the indent on the remote cable is inserted at the top
of the port on the chair, or so that the indent aligns with a corre-
sponding ridge in the controller port.
