NOTE: The lower housing needle bearings are
identical.
5. Insert the inner needle bearing, 1, into the
housing by pressing on the stamped end until the
edge of the bearing is 1.5 ± 0.5 mm (0.060 ±
0.020″) from the edge of the housing.
6. Insert the outer needle bearing, 2, into the
housing by pressing on the stamped end until the
edge of the bearing is 7.35 ± 0.5 mm (0.287 ±
0.020″) from the edge of the housing.
NOTE: Do not dislodge the outer bearing while
inserting the oil seal.
7. Press in oil seal, 3, until it seats firmly against the
outer bearing.
8. Lubricate the O ring, 4, with petroleum jelly and
insert it into the groove of the lower bearing
housing.

9. Place the yoke and eccentric shaft, 1, into the
gearbox housing.

10. Apply Loctite 515 gasket eliminator to the mating
surfaces of the gearbox cover at 1.
