1-GENERALINFORMATION
Intendeduse
Thistractor,withstandardequipmentandauthorizedattachments,isintendedtobeusedforcustomaryfarmingand
relatedagricultureoperations.Farmingimplementsandattachmentsforloadingandmovingmaterialscanbeused
onthetractorwhererecommendedandapprovedbyCASEIH.Installationofutility(dozer)blades,tileplows,or
pushbarsonthetractorisnotrecommended.Anytractordamageresultingfromtheinstallationand/oruseofsuch
equipmentisnotcoveredbythetractorwarranty.
Thoughthemachineisdesignedtoperforminmostagriculturalconditions,theremaybeanumberofcombinations
forwhichthereisseveredegradationofperformanceofthemachineorsystemsthereof.Themachineperformance
dependsonanumberoflimitativeparameters,suchasweatherandterrainconditions,agriculturaldemands,and
harvestingdemands.Ifyounoticedegradationofperformance,contactyourCASEIHdealerforassistance.They
mayhaveusefulinformationforimprovements,orakitmaybeavailabletoenhancetheperformance.
Priortodelivery,allmachinesarecarefullyinspectedbyyourlocalauthorizedCASEIHdealer,ensuringthatthema-
chinereachestheuserinperfectcondition.Tomaintainthetractorinthisconditionandensuretrouble-freeoperation,
see“Maintenancechart”(7-21).
Prohibitedusage
ConsultanauthorizedCASEIHdealeraboutchanges,additions,ormodicationsthatcanberequiredforthismachine
tocomplywithvariousregulationsandsafetyrequirements.Unauthorizedmodicationswillcauseseriousinjuryor
death.Anyonemakingsuchunauthorizedmodicationsisresponsiblefortheconsequences.
