to(-).Avoidcausingtheterminalstoshortcircuit.Thegasthatthebatteriesreleaseishighlyammable.During
charging,leavethebatterycompartmentopentoimproveventilation.Avoidsparksandnakedamesnearthe
battery.Donotsmoke.

Donotchargethebatteriesinenclosedspaces.

Alwaysdisconnectthebatteriesbeforecarryingoutanytypeofservicingontheelectricalsystem.
Hydraulicsystem

Alittleuidcomingoutofasmallborecouldbealmostinvisible,butstrongenoughtopenetratetheskin.For
thisreason,neveruseyourhandstocheckforleaks.Instead,useapieceofcardboardorwood.Ifanyuid
penetratesyourskin,seekmedicalassistanceimmediately.Failuretoseekimmediatemedicalassistancecould
resultinseriousinfectionsordermatitis.

Alwaysreadthesystempressureusingsuitablegauges.
Wheelsandtires
•
Makesurethatthetiresarecorrectlyinatedatthepressurespeciedbythemanufacturer.Inspecttherimsand
tiresregularlyforanydamage.

Remainnexttothetirewhenllingitwithair.

Onlycheckthepressurewhentheplatformisunloadedandthetiresarecold,inordertopreventinaccuratereadings
causedbyoverpressure.

Nevercutorweldarimwithafulltiretted.

Toremovethewheels,lockboththefrontandrearwheelsofthemachine.Liftthemachine.Installstableand
securesupportsunderthemachine,asperthelegislationinforce.

Deatethetirebeforeremovinganyobjectsthatmaybecaughtinthetiretread.

Neverinatetiresusingammablegases,astheycouldcauseexplosionsandinjurebystanders.
Removeandinstall

Liftandhandleallheavycomponentsusinghoistdevicesofappropriatecapacity.Youmustsuspendthepartsusing
suitablehooksandslings.Usethehoisteyesprovidedforthispurpose.Becarefulifthereareanybystandersnear
thehoistedload.
