Disconnectthebatteriesbeforeyouperformanytype
ofserviceontheelectricalsystem.
NOTE:Familiarizeyourselfwiththebatterycabledis-
connectionsequenceandthedisconnectionsequence
ofotherelectricalandelectroniccomponentsbefore
youstarttheserviceprocedure.

Thesulfuricacidcontainedinthebatteryispoisonous.
Theacidisstrongenoughtoscaldtheskin,corrode
clothesandcauseblindnessifitcomesintocontactwith
theeyes.
NOTE:Washyoureyeswithwaterfor15mininthe
eventofcontact.Seeadoctorimmediately.

Alwaystopupthebatteryelectrolytelevelinventilated
areas.

Weareyeprotectionsandrubbergloves.

Avoidbreathingtheelectrolytevaporswhentoppingup
