Troubleshooting
In case of power failure...

backup batteries
• Pow er failure during a registration
The subtotal for items registered up to the power failure is retained in memory You will be able to continue w ith the registration
when power is restored
• Pow er failure during printing or a READ/RESET report
The data already printed before the pow er failure is retained in memory so simply perform the READ/RESET operation after
pow er is restored Note that a pow er failure in this case increments the consecutive number
• Pow er failure during printing of a receipt and journal
Printing will resume alter power is restored A line that was being pruned when the power lailurc occurred is reprinted in lull
• Other
The power lailurc symbol is primed and any item that was being primed when the power lailurc occurred is reprinted in lull

Once receipt/journal printing or printing of a report starts, it can be stopped only by interruption of
power to the cash register. Even if you set the mode switch to OFF while printing is being performed,
the printing operation continues until it is completed. This means that once RESET printing starts, it
will continue until printing of the report is completed and all sales data is cleared from memory.

The following shows the low battery indicator
TI this indicator appears when you switch the cash register on it can mean one ol three things
• No memory backup batteries arc loaded in the cash register
• The power of the ballcncs loaded in the unit is below a certain lc\cl
• The batteries loaded in the cash register are dead
To clear this sign press the |^£l key
^Important!
Whenever the low battery power indicator appears on the display, load a set of three new batteries as
soon as possible. If there is a power failure or you unplug the cash register when one of the above three
conditions exists, you will lose all of your settings and sales data.
BE SURE TO KEEP THE POWER CORD OF THE CASH REGISTER
LUGGED IN WHENEVER YOU REPLACE THE BATTERIES.
