5-4-8. Current measurement
1. Run Mode Current
1. Preparation
(1) Open the Battery Cover and remove the battery pack.
(2) Connect equipment as shown below.
(3) Set the voltage control of the DC power supply at minimum position and turn ON the power.
DC power supply
DC ammeter
DC voltmeter
Diode (IF=3.0A, Max.)
Keep press down the Battery Cover switch.
2. Operation

Adjust the DC power supply so
that the DC voltmeter reads 3.9 V.
Select
[1].Current - Run Mode”
from All Test MENU-6 screen.
Check if the current value is within
200 to 450 mA.
If OK.
The screen returns to the Menu
screen.
If out of range (Failure):
An error indication is displayed.

Pressing the “Enter” key
returns you to the Menu
screen.
2. Sleep Mode Current
Use the same measurement connection as described in “1. Run Mode Current
.

Check if the current value is within
50 to 150 mA.
If OK.

An error indication is displayed.
