CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT

In dealing with customers, 1t 1s very important
to record their names, addresses, telephone
numbers, etc. accurately.
This program is intended for effective customer
management. It permits handling the name,
postal code, address, phone number, birthday,
and identification number, as well as three
reference items, for each customer. A floppy
disk used for filing the records permits high-
speed transfer of large volumes of data.
The program also provides the capability of
printing out a list of names and addresses for
direct mail operations.

Before executing this program, It 1s necessary to create a data fife on the floppy disk
using the program shown in fisting 1. When the program is executed, it asks for the
file name. Input the appropriate file name.
Next, execute the program in listing 2. When the prompt "DISK SET OK? (Y/N}" is
displayed, check that the floppy disk is ready and press the RETURN key. The pro-
gram then displays all the file names on the flopp~, disk, and asks for the fife name to be
used. Input the previously entered file name. When the file is loaded into memory, the
program displays the number of data items, th.en returns to menu O.
This menu can be used to perform ordinary operations. A submenu (menuf}) is also
available (specify (7) in menu 1 ). When entering data for the first time, select (4) Data
Add in menu 1. -
