Title
of
account
Pressing
the
1 key
permits
storing
an
account.
An
account
title
should
not
exceed
13
characters in length,
and
the amount
of
the budget must
not
exceed 8 digits in
length. When
you
input
an
account
titl~
and
the
amount
of
the
budget,
the
pro-
gram displays
the
prompt
"OK?
(Y/N)."
Press
anything
except
the
N key if
the
input
data
is
correct.
If
the
input
data
is
incorrect,
press
the
N key
and
make
the
appropriate
correction.
The
program
then
asks
for
the
date
and
amount
of
the
first
budget
item.
When
you
input
the
date
and
the
amount
(max.
8 digits),
the
program
displays
the
balance
of
the
budget
(i.e.,
the
amount
of
the
original
budget
minus
the
amount
of
the
appro-
priation)
and
the
current
rate
_of
buget
execution.
It
then
displays
the
prompt
"OK?
(Y/N)."
Press
anything
except
the
N
key
if
the
data
is
correct.
Press
the
N
key if
the
da.ta
is
incorrect,
and
make
the
appropriate
correction.
Now,
the
pro-
gram
returns
to
the
Catalog
menu.
2)
Budget execution
In this
mode,
the
file
in
which
account
titles
have been
stored
can be
updated.
The
program
displays
the
first
account
title
and
associated
budget
in
this
file. Retrieve
the
desired
account
title
by pressing
the
cursor
keys
~,
and
[:+~
. When
it
is
found,
press
the
Y key
and
input
the
date
and
the
amount
of
appropriation
in
the
same
manner
as
the
input
of
budget
execution
for
storing
an
account
title.
The
program
then
calculates
the
current
budget
balance
and
the
rate
of
budget
execution.
They
are
stored
when
you
press
the
Y
key.
The
program
then
returns
to
the
menu.
3)
Menu
The
program
moves
from
the
current
Catalog
menu
to
the
Budgetary
Control
menu.
(2) Display
Pressing
the
2 key
puts
the
program
into
display
mode.
In
this
mode,
the
program
dis-
plays
the
data
initially
stored
in
the
file. An
example
of
the
display
is
shown
below.
