you
connect
the
HT-6000
to
other
MIDI-equipped
musical
instruments
and devices,
such
as
synthesizers,
drum
machines, sequencers, and
even personal
computers

SETTING
THE
MIDI
CHANNEL
In
order
to
communicate
with
other
Ml
DI devices,
the
MIDI
basic
channel
numbers
of
both
units must match.
•
To
set
the
MIDI
basic
channel
(1)
Press
the
PATTERN/MIDI
key.
® Turn
the
mode
dial
to
select
parameter
number
"50".
@Turn
the
data dial
to
the
desired
MIDI
basic
channel
number.
@Press
the
PATTERN/MIDI
key
once
again
to
return
to
the
performance
mode.
The
HT
-6000 features 4 basic
Ml
DI modes:

A)
Sends/Receives
Ml
DI messages
as
a single keyboard (8-note
poly).
(Ml DI mode
B)
Sends/Receives
MIDI
messages
for
upper
and
lower
halves
of
keyboard (4-note
poly
per half).
(Ml DI mode C)
Splits keyboard
into
3 sections, a 4-note
poly
section, a
3-note
poly
section and, a
mono
section
for
use
as
a
multiple
sound source.

D)
Sends
multiple
MIDI
messages
for
both
accompaniment
pattern and
melody
performance (for
use
as
a backing
sequencer) .
