CATLER RECOMMENDS SAFETY FIRST
We at Catler are very safety conscious. We design and manufacture consumer products with
the safety of you, our valued customer foremost in mind. In addition we ask that you exercise
adegree of care when using any electrical appliance and adhere to the following precautions:
Children should be supervised to ensure that they will not play with the appliance.
Read all instructions before putting the mills into operation and save them for future
reference.
Remove any promotional labels / stickers before using the mills.
Do not place the mills on or near ahot gas or electric burner or where it could touch
aheated oven. Do not expose the mills to direct sunlight.
• Before rst use, check that you have correctly inserted 6 x AAA alkaline batteries (LR03).
Do not use the mills if they are not assembled properly.
• Replace at batteries with new ones. Do not combine new and used batteries.
If you do not use the mills for alonger time, always remove the batteries.
Dispose of  at batteries in accordance with local regulations. Do not throw batteries into
standard household waste, but take to alocation designated for battery disposal.
Keep the salt and pepper mills clean. More information found in chapter „Cleaning electric
mills“.
Do not use abrasive cleaning products or steel wool so that you do not scratch the surface.
Salt and pepper mills are designed only for household use.
Any maintenance other than standard cleaning should be carried out exclusively by an
authorised service centre.
