9. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES

and/or batteries must be disposed of separately from household waste. When
this product reaches the end of its shelf life, you should dispose of the cells/
batteries/accumulators and take them to a collection point designated by the
local authorities.

7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the appliance from the mains and let it cool down before cleaning it.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the surface of the appliance.
- Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the appliance.
If you don’t intend to use the appliance for a long period of time:
- Switch o the appliance and unplug it from the power outlet. Empty the appliance.
- Clean and dry the interior completely. To avoid mould or unpleasant odours, leave the door
slightly open.
- Store the appliance in a ventilated and dry place, away from heat sources; place the
appliance carefully and do not place heavy objects on it.
- The appliance must be kept out of the reach of children to prevent them from playing with
it.
Cleaning the interior and exterior
- Empty the interior and clean it with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with lukewarm water
or neutral detergent. After using detergent, make sure you rinse it with clean water, and
then dry it with a cloth.
- Do not use strong cleaners, scouring pads, or dissolvents to clean any of the appliance
parts.
- Often clean dust that may accumulate. The condenser grille on the rear of the appliance
and all adjacent components can be cleaned with a soft-brush vacuum cleaner.
Replacing the light bulb
The appliance has a light characterised by its low energy consumption and long lifespan. In case
of malfunction, contact the ocial Cecotec Technical Support Service. Only the manufacturer
or authorised personnel may replace the bulb.
