3. Gently shake the mesh lter to distribute the coee evenly.
4. Place the mesh lter in the lter holder, then put the lter holder in the brewing unit.
5. Close the water tank cover.
6. Tilt the cup and place it on the base.
7. Insert the power plug into a wall socket.
8. Press the power button and the indicator light will light up, indicating that the machine is
in operation.
Warning: do not open the water tank cover during the brewing cycle, as it may burn.
9. Allow the coee to drip from the brewing unit into the cup before removing it.
Note: as the coee grounds absorb some of the water during brewing, the amount of coee
brewed will be slightly less than the amount of water in the tank.
10. Once the brewing cycle is complete, the indicator light will turn o.
11. Unplug the coee machine after use.
Note: after pressing the power button, the coee machine will start the brewing cycle and
will remain on until the cycle is completed. To interrupt or stop the brewing cycle, you must
disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
Brewing a second cup of coee
To prepare another cup of coee, allow the machine to cool down completely (approximately
three minutes) after the indicator light has turned o. Rinse the cup and the reusable mesh
lter with water and repeat the brewing process.
WARNING: if the machine does not cool down completely before being used again, the water in
the water tank may overheat. This may cause steam to escape from the machine, resulting in
a risk of burns and/or personal injury.
NOTE: if you try to start another brewing cycle before the machine cools down, the cycle may
be incomplete as the unit uses a thermal reset to prevent overheating. This may cause the
machine to shut down automatically.
Tips for good coee
- Always use fresh, cold water.
- For stronger or milder coee, increase or decrease the amount of coee beans.
- The ner ground coee beans, such as those in drip and automatic drip coee machines,
promote full avour extraction and a rich, textured coee.
- Store ground coee beans in a cool, dry place.
