Overview

The device is a Center Boiler Plus RF Wireless 7 Day Programmable Thermostat, model number 340022 (EHE0200322). It is designed to provide wireless control over heating systems, offering programmable scheduling and various user-configurable settings. The system consists of two main components: a Wireless Thermostat and a Receiver Box.

Function Description:

The thermostat allows users to set a 7-day heating schedule, optimizing comfort and energy efficiency. It communicates wirelessly with the Receiver Box, which is wired directly to the boiler. This wireless communication eliminates the need for direct wiring between the thermostat and the boiler, offering flexibility in thermostat placement. The device supports different boiler types, including on/off boilers (230V), combi boilers, and 2-port zone valve systems.

The thermostat features a digital display showing current temperature, setpoint, and operational status. It includes buttons for menu navigation, temperature adjustment, and mode selection (Auto/Manual). The Receiver Box acts as an interface between the wireless thermostat and the heating system, receiving commands and controlling the boiler's operation. It also provides a manual override button for switching the boiler on or off directly, independent of the thermostat, which is useful in case of communication loss or thermostat malfunction.
