Switch
For Duplex Tele, Duplex Tele Openview, Duplex Free lift and Triplex Free lift
masts all models with elevating support arms, except the double stacker, have a
switch positioned at a lift height of between 1300 mm and 2200 mm, depending on
mast conguration.
Feature
When the forks reach the switch position, the following occurs:
If it is a truck with elevating support arms the lifting movement will stop at the
switch height if the support arms are not in their lowered position. If the ope-
rator tries to continue to lift the forks the support arms will instead be lowered
until they are in their bottom position, then the lifting movement of the forks
continue.
The travel speed is reduced to 5 km/h.
Benet
The operator need not remember whether the support arms are in the raised or
lowered position. This consistently assures maximum stability at high lift heights.
