Pressurp
altitude is transmitted

the transponder

and conversion

indicated altitude
is
accomplished
in ATC computers.
Altitude
squawked
will
only agree
with indicated
attÍtude
when the
local altimeter
setting in use by
the
ground controller
is set
in the
encoding altimeter.

regardless of

control setting).

normal
operation.

PERFORMANCE
There is no
change to the airplane
performance
when
this
avionic
equipment is
installed. However,
the
installation
of an
externally
mounted
antenna
or
several
related external
antennas,
will result
in a minor
reduction
in cruise
performa,nce.
