Pressure
altitude is
transmitted by the transponder for
altitude squawk and conversion to
indicated altitude is
done in ATC computers. Altitude squawked wiII only
agree
with
indicated altitude when the
looal altÍmeter
setting in use by the
ground
controller is set
in the airoraft
altimeter.
